Billing & Refund Policy
Last Updated: September 20, 2026
1. Two Separate Payment Relationships
This policy covers two different things, and they are not the same payment flow. The first is what you pay KitaKore for your membership or subscription (sections 2 to 9). The second is what your own visitors pay you when you sell through your page (section 10).
2. KitaKore Subscription Billing
Paid plans on KitaKore are billed on a recurring basis, monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. Your subscription begins on the date you upgrade and renews automatically at the end of each billing period. Before you subscribe, we show you the material terms that apply, including the price, how often you are billed, that the plan renews, any trial terms, and how to cancel.
3. Automatic Renewal
Unless you cancel first, your subscription renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. We will send the subscription, renewal, trial-ending, annual-reminder and price-change notices that applicable law requires, when and as it requires them.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then.
5. Refund Policy
Payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as otherwise provided in this policy. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or have another exceptional circumstance, email support@kitakore.com within 7 days of the charge and we will review your request. This window does not limit any rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
6. Free Trial
Where we offer a free trial, no subscription fee is charged during the trial. At the moment our trials do not ask for a payment method, and when a trial ends your account moves to the free plan unless you upgrade. If we ever offer a trial that collects a payment method and converts to a paid plan, we will show you the trial length, the first charge date, the amount, the billing frequency and the cancellation deadline before you enroll.
7. Price Changes
We may change subscription prices. We will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice before an increase takes effect, and we will give any additional notice, or ask for consent, where the law requires it.
8. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will try to collect it again and let you know by email. If we cannot collect payment after reasonable attempts, your account may be moved to the free plan until the payment is sorted out.
9. Payment Processing
Payments to KitaKore are handled by third-party payment processors, currently Stripe, or another processor clearly named at checkout. PresenceSmith Technology LLCdoes not store your full payment card number. By paying, you also agree to the processor's terms.
10. Creator and Visitor Transactions
If you connect a payment account, you can sell products or accept tips from your visitors. Those payments are processed by the payment provider on your own connected account, not by KitaKore. You are the seller of what you offer, so you are responsible for your products and services, for taxes that apply to you, and for refunds, disputes and chargebacks from your customers. The provider's terms apply to those transactions.
What you pay KitaKore for your plan is separate from these sales. If KitaKore ever charges a fee on creator transactions, we will tell creators about it before it applies.
