Cookie Policy

Last Updated: September 20, 2026

1. What This Covers

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, where we use them. They let a site remember things between page loads and visits, such as whether you are signed in.

2. What We Use

Strictly necessary

When you sign in, we set a session cookie so you stay signed in and your session stays secure. Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies can be used without your consent where the law allows. If you block them, you will not be able to sign in or use your dashboard.

Preferences

We store a few settings in your browser's local storage so the site remembers your choices, such as your language, your dashboard theme, whether you closed a notice, and whether you accepted our privacy banner.

Analytics

When someone visits a creator's page or clicks a link on it, our servers record that event so the creator can see how their page is doing. This is first-party measurement that we run ourselves. We do not set analytics cookies on visitors' devices. The record includes the page, the referring site, your approximate location (country and, where available, city, worked out from your IP address by our hosting provider), and your browser, device and operating system. Repeat visits are counted using an identifier created from your IP address, browser and the date, which is not stored in a cookie. Creator pages also keep a random visitor ID in your browser's local storage.

Our hosting and security provider may also set its own cookies to protect the site from abuse.

4. What We Do Not Use

KitaKore does not use advertising cookies, cross-site advertising tracking, or advertising pixels such as the Meta (Facebook) pixel or the TikTok pixel. Connecting a social account to KitaKore is a separate feature and is not an advertising pixel.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse new cookies, delete existing ones and set preferences for specific sites. Your browser's help pages explain how. If you block the sign-in cookie, you will not be able to log in or use your dashboard.
